GAS APPLICATION

By packaging under a modified atmosphere (MAP: Modified Atmosphere Packaging) food products are protected from unwanted influences, thereby extending the shelf-life of the products. When packaging baked goods either carbon dioxide, nitrogen or a mixture of the two is used depending on the application.
