PROCESS DESCRIPTION

In order to preserve raw material quality, containers and silos are rendered inert. In general, inerting is a process in which a reactive state is converted into a non-reactive or inert state by the addition of inert substances. In food processing this generally refers to the removal of oxygen from a container or silo.
