PROCESS DESCRIPTION

Prefabrication produces components for Section Building. Pre-cut components are welded. Gas fusion welding or typical arc welding processes such as MIG/MAG welding and TIG welding are used for this purpose. However, laser welding or laser hybrid welding has also been used more frequently for some time now.

Inaccuracies in fit, caused for example by warping, are corrected with flame straightening. Additional cutting work often involves the use of flame cutting.
